Words of Freedom, hosted by Michael, welcomes Tamela Buhrke, director of Colorado H Friends, a nonprofit organization supporting people with herpes and hpv.  The show unveils the stunning figure that over 1 million people in Colorado have genital herpes.  Worse yet, less than 20% of people know they have it, but can still pass it on to others.  The stigma surrounding the virus has created limited resources, discussion and support options.  The show focuses on the misconceptions and myths surrounding herpes, transmission rates and prevention, and the importance of herpes testing.  Finally, the show provides links to education and support in Colorado and nationwide.  For more information see www.coloradohfriends.com
